Looking for a fresh set of strings or looking to replace old strings, you’re in the right place.
Squash restrings involve choosing a couple of things.
First is the strings. Choosing the right strings to use can feel overwhelming, but makes a difference to the feel and play of the racket. Things to consider are the specific attributes of the string, the cost, and the cosmetics.
Second is the string tension. This will determine further properties of the racket. On the basic level, lower tension means more power, and higher tension increases touch/feel of the racket. This can also be affected by the type of racket and stringing pattern used.
Working out the right combination of these takes some experimentation but there is no wrong answer, and you will find what works for you.
You may also want to consider replacing your bumper strip/grommets, or replacing your grip.
